Without a doubt, the year 2020 has been the most tasking on us. As my last release of the year I thought it would be thoughtful to end the year with a print celebrating those who have left us. The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion and celebrate with food and wine. November 2nd is All Souls Day or the Day of the Dead.
This piece was created using the “Playing on my Heartstrings” image that was then enhanced in the Day of the Dead motif.

Simple landscapes set the stage to the value of emotional attachment that can be compared to no other.
