THE WEDGE Fine Art Print on Canvas Print is shipped ready to hang, unframed.  Our canvas prints are of the highest quality, so much so that you're friends will ask if it's an original painting!

Drew's inspiration for this painting comes from being at The Wedge, a surf spot in Southern California:

On a normal day, The Wedge is home to surfers, body boarders and paddle boarders.  The Wedge is a famed surf spot in Newport Beach, CA, where the waves get HUMONGOUS a few times a year.  When this happens, people from all over the world come to The Wedge to watch the madness of the surfers and body boarders who brave it.

In the summer of 2016, a tourist, who rented a jet-ski, made headline news at The Wedge when he mistakenly drove his jet ski, with a girl on the back of it, into a giant, heaving wave.  Then, he ran the ski straight into the Jetty!   It was all caught on video, and watching the footage is like watching a train wreck - you can't stand it but you can't take your eyes off of it.  See the video here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5L6xzIsESw

It was a miracle that they survived.  Drew is wondering if he should add a jet ski into The Wedge painting!
