Rocky Asbury is a contemporary impressionist street artist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 2014, he has built a self-taught practice fueled by instinct, discipline, and a fearless creative drive rooted in his background as an athlete. Influenced by the expressive rawness of Basquiat and the bold cultural commentary of Warhol, Rocky blends urban street aesthetics with layered texture and spontaneous mark-making. Working with acrylics, oil sticks, spray paint, scrapers, and palette knives, his process is intuitive and unrestrained — free from traditional rules or formal training. His work draws inspiration from everyday life: weathered signage, magazine covers, conversation, and the visual noise of modern culture.
