Biography
Craig Skaggs began his career while still in high school working for a small children's book publisher. He became a full-time artist in 1993 doing commercial art for several advertising agencies and illustrations for a publisher of teaching materials. Soon after, Craig was picked to illustrate Star Wars art for Brown Shoe Co., and branched out into design: shoes, toys, novelties, collectibles, and hundreds of other products.
Craig worked for numerous magazines, game, comic book, medical journal, and children's book publishers and was a cover artist for Random House and Wings Press.
Today, Craig is an official fine artist for Lucasfilm and Disney and a lead medical illustrator for the Journal of Allergy and Immunology.
