"The idea comes from the wine that comes in screw off lids. The wine culture is so vast and funny to me. I get so much inspiration from so many sayings and analogies and people - what they prefer and how they prefer it, their demeanor and their attitude. I think a lot of my work just puts a magnifying glass on a situation. But with alcohol you can watch a transformation happen, a shift, you can start a night with a group and an hour later the attitude is completely changed for the most part. Sometimes the idea hits you, then you think I can't believe I didn't think of that.
